ARCTIC FISHERMAN

 

Roderick Sloan is a Scottish chef and fisherman who, for the last 20 years, has lived and worked on the Steigen peninsula in Arctic Norway. Working with some of the world’s best shellfish, Roderick has gained a reputation over the last decade for supplying some of the best restaurants in Europe, including an intimate relationship with Noma in Copenhagen. Throughout all his work Roderick is motivated by sustainable fishery for longterm growth and has championed these causes to audiences within the Arctic and throughout the world.
